For many years, the CHSS has consistently held Annual Meetings that have focused on the most up to date topics in Congenital Heart Surgery and emphasized the works in progress from leaders in this specialty. In 2008, CHSS partnered with the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association to hold a Joint Annual Meeting in beautiful Warsaw, Poland. In 2009, CHSS will return to its original format held in Chicago, at the Westin O’Hare Hotel for its Annual Meeting on November 1st – 2nd. This year’s Annual Meeting promises to continue the rich traditions established by the CHSS over the past several years.
