In 2004, the CHSS broke with tradition and held an extremely successful and well-attended Joint Annual Meeting with the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association in Montreal, Canada for the occasion of the Centennial celebrations of the Montreal Children’s Hospital. In 2008 the CHSS is proud to announce that it will once again partner with the European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association to host the second joint meeting in Warsaw, Poland from September 10 – 12, 2008. In Warsaw, we would like to continue the scientific exchange and friendships that were experienced in Montreal in 2004. This two day scientific program will focus on the most up to date topics in Congenital Heart Surgery and will emphasize the works in progress by both Societies in recent years.

On behalf of the Joint Scientific Program Committee we invite you to submit both papers and videos for consideration. The CHSS will continue a format of five-minute oral presentations followed by ten-minutes of discussion.
